The Battle of Antietam, also known as the Battle of Sharpsburg, was fought on September 17, 1862, near Sharpsburg, Maryland, and Antietam Creek, as part of the Maryland Campaign, and was the first major battle in the American Civil War to take place on Northern soil. It was the bloodiest single-day battle in American history, with about 23,000 casualties.
The Sesquicentennial reenactment will be September 14, 15 & 16. Please join us.

Due to larger than anticipated registrations, the 150th Antietam Reenactment Committee has secured the Legacy Manor Farm as the site of the September 14, 15 & 16, 2012 event. The Legacy Manor Farm is a historic 400 acre working farm located just 2 miles north of the Antietam Battlefield off of Route 65 (Sharpsburg Pike).

Registration fees are: $15.00 February 1st - June 30th, 2012, $25 until August 15th, 2012. No Substitutions after August 15th, 2012. Register before July 15th and your name will be listed in the official program. Register NOW and save money.
